Welcome back to Tea With Me and Friends - this week we are bringing you a round up of some of the Easter themed afternoon teas on offer this March and April.

Today let's take a peek at the Easter afternoon tea from Corinthia London....

Easter afternoon tea - Corinthia London

The sweet treats on this afternoon tea plate include an orange butter cream macaroon “Easter Bunny”, a carrot cake cased in a chocolate plant pot complete with mini carrot and a traditional Easter Simnel cake decorated with marzipan.

In addition to these treats on Easter weekend all afternoon tea guests also receive a handmade Golden Easter egg. The Easter egg could contain a surprise gift - ranging from a manicure by ESPA Life at Corinthia to a decadent dining experience at Corinthia London.

Lancaster London’s Lounge Bar is offering a tea-riffic Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea created by Head Chef Ben Purton. The selection includes tasty miniature treats such as: Honey and Chocolate Lolly Pops; Pear & Ginger Cup Cakes; and White Chocolate & Passion Fruit Cheese Cakes.

The Afternoon Tea is served from 2pm until 5.30pm, priced at £30 per person, or £40.00 with a glass of Champagne. In addition, Lancaster London has created a cocktail especially for Mother's Day.....treat mum to a Pink Fizz...

Welcome back to Tea With Me and Friends where we're taking another peek at some of the afternoon tea experiences you can enjoy in London this Mother's Day!

Let's take a peek at The Modern Pantry in Clarkenwell first....

The Modern Pantry offers guests a modern twist on the traditional afternoon tea with savouries including:

Coronation chicken sandwich, raisin chutney

Chia seed bread, parsnip, cumin & black garlic purée,

hazelnut & macadamia dukkah, sorrel cress

Spring onion & Aleppo chilli scone, Perroche goats cheese

Mother's Day Afternoon Teas 2016 - Part 1

Welcome back to Tea With Me and Friends. In the run up to Mother's Day in the UK this coming Sunday, we thought we'd take a look at some of the afternoon teas that have been created especially to spoil your mum with.

Let's start by taking a peek at Muriel's Kitchen who are serving a very cute afternoon tea on a mini picnic bench....and if you book this afternoon tea on 6th March Mum's will receive a complimentary glass of Prosecco!

This afternoon tea spread includes all the traditional items, including a selection of finger sandwiches, mini fruit scones with clotted cream & strawberry jam and a selection of sweet treats. All washed down with unlimited tea - you can pick from: English Breakfast, Earl Grey, Camomile, Peppermint, Chai, Super Fruit, Green Tea, Jasmine Tea, Rooibos

Another Mother's Day afternoon tea feast can be found at Sketch in London, where on Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th March  guests can enjoy Afternoon Tea & a gift for all mother's, a Dyptique scented candle, with a glass of Moussé Fils rosé Champagne for £68 per person.

This is a stylish afternoon tea....

The finger sandwiches on offer include coronation chicken, smoked salmon and Jacob's cream, cucumber and ricotta, Comte cheese panini and egg and maynonnaise, quail egg, caviar. Scones are served with clotted cream and preserve and the pastries include a passion fruit tartlet, coffee cake, pistachio choux, cassis cheesecake, chocolate and mint gateau, tangy citrus meringue and malabar marshmallow.

Afternoon tea news....Valentines 2016 at Ampersand

Another day, and we have another Valentines day afternoon tea to drool over!

Today we're taking a peek at the afternoon tea on offer this Valentines at Ampersand in South Kensington. As well as the usual scrummy savouries, the tea also consists of heart shaped white chocolate scones.....

The pastries include a Red berries and Tahitian vanilla cream eclair, Heart-shaped macaroon with milk chocolated and strawberry, Caramel chocolate and rose mousse and White chocolate coated marshmallow and raspberry.....

Afternoon Tea News.....Valentines 2016 at Paul

Welcome back to Tea With Me and Friends - today we're taking another look at a Valentines afternoon tea on offer this month. Let's take a look at the afternoon tea Le Restaurant de Paul has created which features some of their scrummy sweet creations.

Paul's Valentine menu includes:

Artisan bread sandwiches (vegetarian option available)

1 Valentine’s Fraisier, 1 Valentine’s Craquant & 2 mini macarons

Brioches with jam and whipped cream

The Valentine's Fraisier is a light genoese sponge with creamy mousse, lined with strawberries. It's topped with pink marzipan and more strawberries....

and the Valentine's Craquant is for the chocoholics out there.....

Afternoon Tea News....Valentines 2016 at The Lancaster, London

With Valentines Day just around the corner we thought we would share with you some of the more romantic afternoon teas that we have discovered this February. We are staring today with a look at the Valentines Afternoon Tea on offer at Lancaster London.

Guests can enjoy this romantic afternoon tea between Wednesday 10th February and Tuesday 16th February 2016, everyone will be greeted by Laurent-Perrier Rosé Champagne, a hand written menu and a beautifully laid table, scattered with rose petals.

Priced at £45 per head, the Valentine’s Afternoon Tea features romantic sweet treats including heart shaped macaroons, Champagne & chocolate opera cake, passion fruit & raspberry lollypops; and freshly baked scones with rose & strawberry jam.

Lancaster London - Valentines 2016 Afternoon Tea

The menu also includes savoury classics with a romantic twist such oyster beignet topped with caviar, asparagus and spiced tomato tarts; and a selection of fine finger sandwiches accompanied by specially blended, rose infused tea.

The Lancaster London are also holding a competition with this afternoon tea - all Valentine’s bookings will automatically be entered into this exclusive competition, for a chance to win a bottle of Laurent-Perrier Rosé Champagne with two official glass flutes.
